Privacy Policy

SystMe is a local-first planning app: you define a plan once (a Template) and it tracks every occurrence of it (an Instance) — habits, checklists, or budget allocations. This policy explains what data that requires and how it's used.

Data we collect

Everything you enter — template titles, notes, checklist items, allocation amounts, due dates, completion history — is stored only on your device, in a local database that never leaves it, including if you use the app's offline System suggestions, pre-built Playbook library, or the AI-assisted import screen (which only helps you build a prompt to paste into an AI app of your own choosing — SystMe itself never calls out to one).

There is no account and no sign-in. There is no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDK of any kind. The one exception to "no network requests" is described next.

Optional purchase. SystMe offers a one-time "Pro" unlock (unlimited active Systems, plus local backup/restore) as a standard Google Play in-app purchase. Completing that purchase talks to Google Play Billing directly — SystMe never sees or stores your payment details, and Play Billing is the only network call the app makes, triggered only when you choose to buy or restore Pro.

Permissions SystMe requests

Notifications. Used only to remind you when a scheduled plan is due, or when a manual plan's due date arrives. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device by the operating system — nothing about them is sent anywhere.

Boot-completed (Android). Used only so previously scheduled reminders survive a device restart; it does not run anything else in the background.

Local backup files

If you use Settings → Export backup, SystMe writes a JSON file containing your Systems and history and hands it to your device's own share sheet — where you send it (Drive, email, a Files app, etc.) is entirely your choice, and SystMe has no part in that transfer.

What we don't collect

No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal or device identifier. No usage analytics. No advertising identifiers.

Data retention and deletion

All data lives in the app's local storage on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. There is nothing to request deletion of, since nothing is ever sent to us or stored anywhere but your device.

Children's privacy

SystMe is not directed at children and, since it collects no data from anyone, there is no data of any user's — child or adult — to be concerned about.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be posted at this same URL.
